Dear EMSA Members,

During a Special Meeting on February 9, 2021, EMSA Board of Directors decided to cancel the U5 and U7 EMSA Season and discuss the status of the season for the other age groups on March 1st, 2021. For any additional information please contact your EMSA Zone or Club office.

The Youth team sport activities were included in step 1 of the Government’s Path Forward, EFFECTIVE from February 8th, 2021. All the basic details can be found below and on the Government of Alberta website https://www.alberta.ca/enhanced-public-health-measures.aspx :

In alignment with all details listed above, Alberta Soccer has developed a guidelines “8 & 2 Return to Train” (click here) . This document respects all the Government of Alberta Children’s sport and performance activities & Indoor Fitness guidance published on February 6, 2021; it is also subject to change based on the future updates/announcements.

EMSA is working with all our Indoor Facilities partners to secure practice times and safely training.

EMSA Executive will continue to monitor the situation, work closely with ASA and will update the membership as soon as new information becomes available
